This is my 1974 Chevy Nova with 32,000 documented miles. The car was bought by my father from June Chevrolet in New Jersey for $3,406.70. It was an additional family vehicle and was not driven very much. For the past 4 years it sat in storage. On my trip to new Jersey in May, 2001 my father told me I could have the car as a gift. After flushing out the old gasoline, putting in a new battery, ignition points and plugs, doing an oil change it started on the 2nd try. I had it shipped via car carrier from New Jersey to my home in Apopka, Florida. I changed out the interior by adding black carpet with silver speckles to the roof, dashboard, floor and rear deck. I installed a stereo, 4 speakers, and a power amplifier replacing the old standard AM Radio. The entire engine compartment was cleaned and repainted to factory colors, including the engine with GM orange. The car drives excellent and rides better than the new cars of today. I took my car to Old-Town for the Friday Night Cruise until the Rice Burner and teenaged gangs took over. The Nova took first place for The Christmas Toy Cruise (2001) and (2002) at Old-Town as the best decorated vehicle for Christmas. These photos were taken at Porkies BBQ during April 2005 at The Friday Night Cruise ![]() ![]() Check Out The Year 2002 Halloween Pics Click Here Check Out The Year 2002 Christmas Pics Click Here
